Brad and team did a tremendous job with our egress window installation. With our house being brick, it is a bit more complicated (and in fact one other place we reached out to would not even attempt to do it) but Brad knew exactly how to explain the additional steps needed for the brick house, and it was clear he had plenty of experience with similar situations. A cold and wet end of winter/early spring made the project late by a few weeks, but not much anyone can do about that. The window was installed in less than 1 full business day and looks incredible. Brad was also about 10-15% less expensive than a well known competitor in the area. Highly, highly recommend Brad and crew for your egress window needs!

Brad and his team did an awesome job finishing our basement. He and his contractors were extremely professional and responsive to any questions we had. Brad was a huge help when deciding the lay out and took the time to explain the different options, he takes extreme pride in his work. I would definitely recommend this company!

Initially Brad was great to work with! He presented our options and gave us the pros and cons of each egress window. However, I had to apply for the permit with the city and do all of this leg work. That wouldn't be a problem if I had all of the info I needed. Eventually the city inspector asked to just speak with Brad directly. I think it's important to note that we did NOT have a permit before Brad's crew broke ground which I was not aware of. I was under the impression that we were cleared to start by the city. Communication was also sporadic with Brad. When they came to install the window he was not there and it was two other gentlemen. I told them to let me know if they needed anything as I was working from home that day. There were no issues while they worked but after they left I was informed that one of them urinated by the side of my house. My neighbor literally saw him pee next to my house right by my air conditioner. They left without saying anything and did not install the cover we purchased from Brad. I texted Brad after to ask if they were done or if they were going to come back and put the cover on. We also paid for the trim to be completed in the house. May 24th the window was completed and heard nothing about the trim after that. I reached out June 5th asking when he'd be back to finish and he told me the following week. When he came to bring the trim he told me he'd have to come a separate time to do the hinges because the cover didn't come with the hinges. I then didn't hear from him until JULY. I texted on the 10th and didn't hear back. I then texted on the 28th a little more frustrated asking when he'd be back since we paid in full. I got a text saying he'd be by early next week. That WHOLE week went by with no communication. Saturday the 5th I texted saying I never heard from him. Then yesterday, August 8th, I received a text saying "we will be there in about 45 min to install the brackets". So just a recap. May 24th the window was completed. AUGUST 8TH the brackets were installed, all the while they were fully paid. I will not recommend Basements Unlimited to others.

If you are interested in adding an egress window to your property Brad and his crew are very qualified. They have an efficient system in place, they work well as a team, and offer a lot of experience! They also install Rockwell window wells which are made in the 🇺🇸 USA! Do yourself a favor and check out his website. You will find a straight forward description of his services.

Owner (Brad) came over to do a quote, after initially being late on the 1st appointment the owner rescheduled for a later date. Upon coming over the owner did a thorough job of looking thru our basement. The owner consistently shot down my wife's ideas of different concepts she was hoping to incorporate. The owner then examined the remaining parts of my home while looking for access points. The owner then gave us a 4-5 day window to receive an estimate, after 7 days I called back to ask out our estimate. The owner stated he was busy, it would be another 2-3 days, that my wife needs to be more patient, and if my wife can't be more patient her time isn't worth his time. The owner then said, "it's unfortunate" hung up and didn't provide us any information since it wasn't "worth his time" to even provide a quote for the rescheduling we did to accommodate his time. Even a poor salesperson atleast provides a quote to justify their time spent but based off a prior review from a week ago it appears communication isn't a high priority; and the higher paying clients are in charge.
