Kaara McHugh is a Lecturer of Voice at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and the Co-Artistic Director of Studio 12 Collaborative School of the Arts. Kaara is also a professional soprano and actor based in Green Bay, WI. She holds a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from the Boston Conservatory and has taught voice for over 10 years. Her students have won competitions such as the Hal Leonard Vocal Competition and the NATS HS Musical Theatre Competition. Her students have been accepted to Viterbo University, University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Carthage College, Drake University, Millikin University, Nebraska Wesleyan University, Northern Michigan University, Rockford University, Columbia College Chicago, Roosevelt University, University of New Hampshire, and Luther College.
