We both just had a sirloin burger without salt. Very good!

My mom and I first checked out Waseda out of pure curiosity. I love the feel of the market, very cozy and compact - well organized and quite simple to navigate. We didn't purchase anything, but we admired it all (especially the local kombucha on tap!).
I stopped in this week to purchase liver. I wanted to incorporate it into my diet, but only if it was from a reliable source. After reading on the Waseda Farms website and talking to a friendly person on the phone about the whole grass-fed thing, I made my trip into the store and found myself also buying some of the homemade soap (activated charcoal/tea tree - amazing!). At the register, the cashier was talking to the lady in front of me and I could really tell he was engaging her. I was like, "OH man, better get ready to talk!" (I'm usually the type to get in, get what I need, and get the hell out!) This time though, I ended up talking to the cashier for 15 minutes about cows and eating livers, etc. His name was Peter. He was incredibly sincere and I adored our conversation. I left the store smiling and excited to come back!
I *definitely* recommend stopping in and checking the place out. Even if you don't have anything in particular that you're looking to buy. You'll be happy you did. :)

I ordered a ton of chuck roasts and a few stewing hens from this place, mailed to California. I've been going nuts with my pressure cooker lately, heh. Everything arrived frozen solid and well packed. The quality of the food is excellent as well. I will definitely purchase again.

An exciting find for de pere area. We were looking for organic produce and grass fed meats here and found both. It's a pretty small store but had some organic produce and a pretty solid meat selection which was all grass fed/ pastured / free range chickens, etc. I will be stopping in every time I'm in the area. They even had Japanese sweet potatoes which is a must for my family. So good!

Bought a prime rib at waseda market in Baileys Harbor. Said 10% discount never got it. Plus when thawed rib the bone was not connected to meat my guess just for extra weight. Cost $23 a #. Very disappointed 😞
Wanted to thank Matt for going above and beyond to make things right. Thanks again
